This is Rachel again. Today's e-mail from Tonya and Joe described another good day of visits with Oksana, Dimi, and Vitali. It sounds like the care givers at the orphanage have been counseling Oksana about all the possibilities and options that she could have in the USA with loving parents like Tonya and Joe. Two good days in a row let's all keep praying for a few more! Below is an excerpt from their email.
"Roman has been excellent with helping us get through to Oksana, and is very instrumental in making this experience a positive one for us. He talked with Oksana about her current situation and what we might offer her in the US, and she told him that she felt good about the situation. We are taking things in small steps, but today was very encouraging."

Thanks so much for posting, Rachel! I'm so glad Oksana has some wise counsel available to her. It's amazing that she is to decide the outcome for the three of them, but how wonderful these children could be. I'm eagerly waiting to hear more.
How encouraging!
Three children-wow! It might be a good idea to get their measurements for clothes. They may need some when they arrive with the warmer weather. Lots of folks state-side would like to help!
Also, if you have some ideas on their interests, it would be good to have whatever "equipment" here when you come back.
Hope endures all.

FINALLY some good news! You are brave, giving wonderful people. Of COURSE the director would say you look like "able" parents. I am still praying for you ... and that young lady. I'm thankful you have someone working with you to help convince her, and that is so very smart of you! She has to make the decision, and I believe she will make the right one! Still praying for you and them...hang in there!
It looks like it may finally happen!! That is so encouraging!! Shirley and I are following your blog daily and are so very hopeful for the two of you. You're right Tanya; going from a household of two to a household of 5 may require counceling. But it will all be worth it in the end. God be with all of you!!!

We're following the blog every day. Hang in there!
By the way, you mentioned that this town is west of Kyiv. Is it in the Ukrainian-speaking part?
